We currently live in Watford and looking to move end of summer so that we are in the right area for my son to apply to secondary schools for Sept 2022 start.
There are no good secondary schools in Watford so we are considering Rickmansworth or Uxbridge. Ive always like Uxbridge an some lovely new flats there now.
Whats put me off is reading an old 2011 review on here where someone asked about Uxbridge and people were not very polite about it. Ive only been on day trips for cinema etc.
I know the crime rate is ridcoulous but mainly theft/pickpocketing.
Someone pointed out that a lot of shops will have shut post COVID and that impacts an area.
The reason I looked here is I can afford rent and there are 3 decent secondary schools.
I want somewhere that has good transport links for when my son is older and wants independance.
Does anyone have a good view of Uxbridge?
