I know there are some older posts on this but looking for more up to date info. My child will be starting p1 in Aug this year, due to Covid we aren’t been able to view any school. They have a place at both Watsons and George Heriots and wondered if could get any recent feedback. Unsure if they will be sporty, academic or arty. I wouldn’t say my husband or I are particularly academic though but both loved sport and art at school. Little one is quite anxious (lockdown) and small but gets on well with other children & loves to have fun. GW I like the one campus, GH I like the size, the teachers (via zoom) seemed great too. Any tips much appreciated. My other question is does anyone have any feedback on the advantage of starting for p1 (I like the idea of 1 school but could re-apply for p6/7). Edinburgh is great as it has such good school options but I’ve never had to make any big decisions yet so feels overwhelming! Thanks.
