Hey everyone! Hope all is well. I’m planning on moving to hull from Great Yarmouth to live with my partner who already lives and works there.
I’m stuck and in need of some help, I currently work as a receptionist at Premier Inn. So I’m hoping to try and relocate and work at a Hotel in Hull, but i don’t know the nice areas that isn’t to high on rent (looking around £400-700 a month) that’s near a hotel as I don’t drive unfortunately. I’m also planning on having a baby in the next year or two so I need a nice area that I can raise my future children in. I don’t know where to look, as I’ve only been to hull once so I don’t know it well at all. Any help ladies? Thankyou 😘 x

But your partner already lives and works there?

Presumably, if you're moving in with him then you're moving into whatever area of Hull he lives in. If you're looking to move to Hull but rent your own place, can't you ask him where the nice areas are?

It's a bit of an odd question.

I used to live in Hessle which has a Premier Inn! Also a few other hotels. Nice little town but I’m afraid I can’t comment on rents as I left 10 years ago. Also a premier inn in the city centre which is easy to get to by bus from any part of Hull.

He still lives with his parents and has only recently moved there too. He lives in cottingham. I’m just trying to find the right place for my future as he’s still new thought it would be better to do some research myself. So I wouldn’t say it was a bit of an odd question

North Ferriby is nice.

Cottingham is nicer than Hessle. Mercure and Lazaats hotels on the doorstep and some health clubs. Both have train stations which can get you into Hull city centre for work easily. Cottingham train could also get you to Beverley in 10mins which also has a Premier Inn.
You can afford to rent in Beverley which is a lovely market town.

Haven’t been to Hull for a while, but just to say try and get a driving license before you have the baby. I don’t think it’s great for public transport.
