hi leeds folk!
just to warn you my toddler has hand foot and mouth, so it might be doing the rounds in leeds. esp. at free baby groups in the north leeds area (chapeltown/harehills etc!)

What!
What is hand foot and mouth? Is it a typo or am I being thick? More info please!

Raebees · 26/10/2007 15:25

its a common childhood illness, nothing to do with foot and mouth that cloven hooved animals get!
its blisters on hands, feet and in mouth, sore throat, pretty uncomfortable, lasts about a week to 10 days. no real complications. think its a bit below chickenpox. so worse than a cold but we aren't talking measles! my poor mite seems just over the worst.

Thank goodness, poor thing. Thanks for the warning.

It's very contagious, and lots going around. There have been several threads about recently.
