Just wondering if there’s anyone on here local to Spaxton (near Bridgwater, Somerset). We’re really excited to be moving to the village hopefully in February 2021.
Wondered if there are any views on the local spaxton school? It seems to tick all the boxes but would be lovely to hear someone. If my daughter started in September 2021, she’d be year 1 age (currently at a village school in north Newton whilst we stay with in-laws pending house completion). We’ve heard also enmore good but preference is to be in village school if possible.
Also I’d love to meet up (COVID permitting!) with local mums or people in the area. We’re relocating from Northamptonshire (via short stay in north Newton with family to form household bubble with in-laws) so starting out completely afresh. I work full time and husband currently stay at home dad.
I also have another daughter aged 2 now who, due to the pandemic, has never mixed with others. She’s fine, but would be nice to find her some buddies at some stage! When she turns 3 in dec 21 she’ll prob go to childcare and husband back to teaching, but at home full time with him until then.
