We've just found out we are going to be moving from Essex to North Somerset at the end of the school year (July) which we are excited about. My oldest son will have just finished primary by then. Obviously, we will need to actually visit at some point but wanted to ask for any initial tips on living in either Clevedon or Weston as both areas work well for us...and their related secondary schools, as we have missed the deadline for Yr 7 applications. Clevedon Secondary looks very nice online but I've no idea if schools in the area tend to get oversubscribed (as they seem to here) and I've no idea what the Weston secondary schools are like.
