Hello- we are currently looking at a house on Duffield Road in Derby
How bad is the traffic on this road around the Darley Abbey area? Hard to get a realistic picture now being lockdown. Weighing up how polluted it might be, not knowing the area very well
We have very young children.
Thanks for any help anyone can provide

So it's not too bad atm, as you say.

In normal times, the road is very very busy at about 8.15-9am - like, it could take 20 mins to get from the top of Duff Rd (Palm Court) to Five Lamps - about a mile and a half. Similar at 3.30 (St Benedict's causes a lot of traffic) and also busy on the way out of town at about 5pm.

In general it's a pretty busy road - it is the A6 after all. But most of the houses are well set back and I imagine have pretty good double glazing. It's a nice road, lovely big houses. Also catchment for Walter Evans primary and Ecclesbourne secondary (only really Darley Abbey side tho).
