I would really like advice from locals in the areas please? We are moving up from Essex and my husband has been working in Manchester since March this year. We have been staying with his parents in Northwich during the lockdown but now we have sold our house are looking to buy up here. We have a 2 year old son. I love Knutsford when I have visited, I love the vibe, shops, bars and Tatton park but we can only afford a smaller house here than if we bought a house in Holmes Chapel. We also like the feel of Holmes Chapel but I'm worried it will be too quiet for us and we will end up driving out of the village every weekend.
Does anyone have advice on these areas? Especially on which area is better to meet new friends, toddler clubs and schools.
