Good morning! I am likely moving to Frome round about the time when I will be giving birth and I am feeling anxious about the quality of local maternity wards and special care baby units. I am an older mum (41yo) and attempting a VBAC, therefore keen to have the best emergency care should anthing not go smoothly. I come from London where I have been happy with our local hospital (Whittington) for our first child. I have seen that there are maternity services in Paulton, Frome itself (no info on their maternity services online at all), Trowbridge, Bath and Bristol. Any of these wold possibly be ok although Bristol starts to be a bit far..
I would be extremely grateful for any advice from local mothers, who are informed about the real quality of services. Many thanks in advance!
