Hello, I’m yet another clueless mum trying to figure out primary school admissions with no tours this year!
Based on past years’ admissions we’re in catchment for Raglan and Spicer. Raglan is a tad closer and I love their music focus but have a surprisingly mediocre performance for such a well regarded school? Also looks like kids with lower and even average attainment don’t do too well, there might be some staff turnover and may be on the strict side?
I’ve heard Spicer is quite child centred, have great results but worry about demographics and other kids’ influence over time... am I overthinking it?
Grange Park’s Is not walking distance, their academics are impressive though pastoral care might not be their strength?
Does anyone have any experience of these schools, thoughts on the impressions I’ve formed or anything to share on them? Thanks in advance!
