Has anyone been for a family swim at the Commonwealth Pool since it re-opened? I've booked to take my 8-year-old tomorrow but I can't find any info on the website/booking to tell me:
(a) if the cafe is open (we're going around midday and it would be handy to grab lunch there); and
(b) how big is the 'pod' that each family gets in the family pool? My DS is too young to cope with lane swimming in the big pool so we've booked for a family swim, but I wonder if the size of the 'pod' they're allowing each family in the wee pool will be too small for an 8-year-old to really swim in.
Can anyone who has been since the re-opening comment on the above? Thanks.
