Hello Ladies.
I do hope you do not mind me 'entering this hallowed place'...as although I am a mummy... I am also about to become a nanna for the first time in December, and I wanted to be aware of all the up to date info about modern parenting... mainly so that I don't 'put my foot in it' as a new nanna. My son and his wife are, as I said, expecting their first child in December...and I am so excited I think I will burst.(grin)
The other reason for my posting on here is that I am a face painter ( 20 years experience)but have recently ventured into new painting areas with Preggy tummy painting.I have done a few now.... and would like very much to expand my portfolio. I would normally charge for my services,as I am a professional face painter... but as I said,I would like to offer belly painting to expectant mums... so am looking for volunteers who will let me paint their tummies FOR FREE to build my portfolio.I have copies of a few of the tummies I have already done so you can see this is serious work, and will be a treasured momento of a pregnancy. The face paint I use is non toxic, fully approved, FDA approved, is hypoalergenic, water based .... and it is used on the faces of small children and very very safe. The painting takes aprox 1-2 hours ... depending on the complexity of the design, and all the mums I have painted so far say what a relaxing experience it is... a bit like having a tummy massage...and you get to relax at the same time! The painting will come off easily in the shower...as I said... it is all water based... so just soap and water to remove it. Any other questions you would like to ask about this offer... please ask away! Perhaps someone can tell me how to post up photo's? then I can let you see what I am talking about. Thanks for your patience... I know this has rambled on a bit. ( but dont forget...I am an about to be nanna... so forgive me!)(wink)
