Hi fellow mums,
I am looking to moving into the area for primary and secondary schools.
I have heard that Crofton is really good school, the KS2 results are great, and also Y6 leavers destination is impressive (abobut 26% students went to grammer school this year)
I have seen a house in catchment of Crofton school, however if we buy this house, we will not be within the catchment of any other good local secondary schools.
I am also looking in Darrick wood area, as it has primary and secondary schools both. However my main concern is that their KS2 results are less impressive compared to other local schools.
I am looking for thoughts on whether I should buy a house in really great primary school catchment and worry about secondary later or buy a house in OK primary school catchment, with nearby local secondary school.
In terms of house that we have shortlisted, the one within the catchment of Darrick Wood area is more nicer compared to the one in catchment of Crofton school.
Can you please share your feedback/opinion on this?
TIA
