Partner and I are hoping to move to the Combe/Stonesfield/Bladon/North Leigh area from Abingdon. Partner works near Wallingford and would need to be in a couple of days a week post-covid. I can work from home so not an issue for me. I've read on other threads the A40 from Witney to Oxford is to be avoided at all costs but partner would likely need to drive that way to get to Wallingford. Does anyone have any advice on how awful the commute would be? It's hard to recreate at the mo because of reduced pandemic traffic. Any other thoughts on villages in that area would be much appreciated!
