Can anyone recommend a jobbing gardener?

I need a gardener to do routine stuff - reasonably knowledgable and experienced, but not a 'landscaper' or 'garden designer' at at huge fees!

Also - a tree surgeon to reduce the size of a fruit tree.

Any recommendations?

Thanks!

Our next door neighbour is a gardner. We're based in SE19. She's a one woman band so doesn't take on huge jobs. She does our garden for us and is good with planting recommendations. She's Royal Horticultural Society trained. If you're interested CAT me and I can give you her name and number. (or I can CAT you) Don't know if she would appreciate me posting it on here!

As to a tree surgeon, I've been unsucessful in finding one to do our apple tree. I had found one who had agreed to come today, but he didn't show and is not answering his phone. Grr. I'll let you know if he turns up or if I find another one. Can you let me know if you get one first?
