Move to york next year

Hi All,

Next year move to York, hope my son can entry Archbishop Holgate's School. May i know any priority difference if property more close to school. Or just in school catchment area is enough

This is only my experience, but I don't know anyone in catchment who hasn't got in. We live outside of the catchment area but were lucky that the year my son started there were places available to those a good distance outside catchment.
This years intake initially appeared to be the catchment area only (more or less) but over the summer I know of a number of people outside catchment who've been offered places, so I'd say within catchment should be fairly safe.
