We are moving from the US to the Haslemere/ Petersfield area in November this year. We have two sons, 11 and just turned 13. Because we are coming from the US school system and he's young for his year, we are thinking about holding the 13 YO back and putting them both into a prep school to help them get caught up.
Our kids are medium academic, not team sports players - they like Tae Kwon Do and fencing(!) so I'm trying to find a school that won't force them to hang on a rugby field for wasted hours!
Any advice on good friendly mixed prep schools or private senior schools that would not be super intimidating for kids new to the country would be great!
