Secondary schools in/near Folkestone?

Hi all, hoping for some advice on whether there's a good mixed secondary school in Folkestone?

We'd love to move there, think our two sons might have a chance of getting into Harvey Grammar, but we're really not keen on the idea of an all boys' school.

I've read a bit about Brockhill which sounds promising, but our eldest is more science/mathsy and their specialism is apparently performing arts. Does anyone know how 'strong' the performing arts focus is?

Or if there are any other mixed schools worth considering?

Any opinions much appreciated!

Bumping this as I am also interested in finding out more about secondary schools in Folkestone. We are in the process of buying a house there which should hopefully be sorted in the next few weeks. I will need to apply for schools this term for my son in Y6. There's no open days happening so any information anyone has would be appreciated. My son's going to do the Kent test as an out of catchment pupil and hopefully he'll go to Harvey Grammar School, but it would be good to know about the other schools in case he doesn't pass the test.

Reading through some old threads on here I noticed that some people send their kids to Canterbury for grammar schools, but it looks like a very long commute to me. Just wondering why people would do this rather than choosing a school in Folkestone?

Take a look at the Turner School and see if that may suit your son.
