Hi
We are moving to Silsden from Leeds/Wakefield area at the end of the year.
I have applied for Silsden primary for them they will be ages 10,5 & 3 by the time we move. We are buying a new build.
We know nobody in a Silsden we chose the area as we love the dales and also visit Bolton abbey all the time.
But we are only an hour away from family still. Can anybody give me some info into the area. Things to go, places to visit. General advise really if anyone has any. Do's and Don'ts and how to make the most of living in the area. Thanks in advance

east riddlesden hall and gardens is also definitely worth visiting, it's a national trust property in Keighley and the gardens are lovely for kids

sorry for the random pieces of info but I hope it helps a little!

Thank you,
I've actually got them places hopefully at the swim start place they replied today.
We are national trust members so really must go to east Riddlesden hall! Sounds good thanks!
Will have to look out for the groups at the hive
Is there many good places to eat locally?
Also do you know anything much about Silsden primary I heard they are getting a new build school up near the park?
Cheers xx

I haven't lived there in a good few years so not clued up on the primary school, new places to eat etc unfortunately, however the facebook group should be pretty good for that if you make a post asking both of those questions x
