Hello
I am really need advise as we are thinking to move to Chippenham Center, close to John Chloe park. Is this safe to walk around?

I am commuting to Wales and Reading area, any ideas how the traffic will be to Bristol and Cardiff ? Also some days I can take the train to Birmingham, Plymouth and London but mainly I am on the road.. We have checked the area and loved the parks and around..
Also thinking a baby, checking out the hospital- how is generally the hospitals to give a birth and for care? And any mum meetings around there?
We are really stuck Pewsham, center or Cepeb Park area?

Any recommendations are really important
Many thanks

Check out Cepen Park, north or south if you are commuting lots. Very easy motorway access.
Chippenham is very safe so pick your house rather than the area.
My babies are teenagers but Greenways was a great place to have kids. It’s a midwife led unit, so you will need to go to bath if consultant care needed. .... or Swindon but I really don’t like Swindon so cant say much about that.

Its actually a really nice place to live. All the better as we have M4 so can get to Bath, Bristol London really easily. Good train links too.
John Coles Park is fab. Plus the schools are excellent.

Good luck with things.

My children were born at the RUH in Bath rather than the birthing center, but that was due to complications. I had planned to go to the birthing unit as all my MW appointments were there, and they are lovely.

We sort of ended up in Chippenham, and actually, we really like it. Fantastic transport links, excellent parks (we're near John Coles) and a very safe area.

If you'd like to be near John Coles, then I wouldn't move to Pewsham or Cepen Park South. Parts of Cepen Park North aren't too far away, but it's pretty big. When you find a house Rightmove, have a look at the map to determine how far it is. Pewsham is a terrible idea if you need easy motorway access because it requires you getting right across town, but either of the Cepen Park developments have excellent access.
