First poster so please be kind. Have been a lurker for ages but wanted to post to receive some of your pearls of wisdom directly 
My DP and I are wanting to move to Tunbridge Wells but are struggling to know which areas to house hunt in. So a few Qs...

We don't have any children but do want them in the future. It seems very important to be in the right catchment area. Does it matter that much? Are there areas / streets to avoid? The boundary lines are bamboozling me!

We also plan to commute to London. How are the morning trains? Can you get a seat? I would dread standing for an hour!!

Would be great to hear why you love it there and what there is to do at weekend!
