Hello I am considering sending my daughter - year 8 to Argyle House or DHSG
Does anyone have any experience of it, is it good teaching, is it welcoming and not too academic. Naturally I want her to do well but not sure if she would like doing 2 hours homework a night. She's not sporty, just want a place welcoming quite focused on good grades but not over the top where a B is no good . I know DHSG is supposed to be excellent but also A s only please! Also the sports are competitive naturally is sort of champion league stuff they want, excellent but a lot of pressure.

I meant that I did not want my daughter to feel she has to get an A in everything, sorry I did not mean a B is no good and that I only want A's I want her to be happy but thrive

Did you make a decision? My eldest joined Argyle House in year 9 so happy to answer any questions if you still need help.
