Hello,

Hope you are all are safe and staying alert :)

Need honest advice PLEASE !!! We are considering moving out of London to Cambridgeshire. We have 3 kids under 5 and DH has to travel (drive occasionally) to London. We have looked online and have considered Caldecote and Doddington primarily for access to schools and property within our budget ( 4 bed detached under 500k). Can you please suggest if either locations are suitable and including activities for kids around. Alternatively, we are open to suggestions in and around Ely.

Doddington is lovely though there is a fair amount of building going on.

Would like to add that if you are looking for somewhere with plenty to do Ely might be better.

Ugh don't move to Ely! Sorry it's not helpful much I know but I really didn't like Ely. Just has a weird feel to it

I have a friend in Doddington. It's lovely but very rural. You have to drive to get anywhere, which can be a drag especially with 3 DC.

Have commented on your other thread, but I'd highly recommend Ely. No idea what the weird feel is about!
