Woodhall Spa or Louth?

Hi all,. We are relocating to Lincs from the Midlands as hubby has got a job in Skegness. We have 3 DCs, 6, 4 and 1.
We have narrowed our search to Woodhall Spa or Louth.
I am particularly looking for advice on which area would be better, I need tips on good primary schools and a nursery for my DS.
I like the idea of not being too remote but neither do we want town centre and too much hustle and bustle.
If anyone can help I'd be eternally grateful!

Woodhall is my absolute dream village. It's beautiful. Kinema in the woods, jubilee outdoor pool, the little shops on the high street, the ice cream Parlour that does crazy flavours (marmite ice cream anyone?) the gorgeous woods to walk through, the bakery and the butcher's! It's such a perfect place!

Louth has a really good set of primary schools but the secondary schools have a few issues at the moment but should be resolved by the time yours reach that age though). The Grammar is fine but only does 'classic' A levels, the two non selectives have merged and their sixth form has closed so the majority are now travelling out of town to Grimsby after gcses.

Kidgate or St Michaels are the most popular primary schools although the head of st Michael's is retiring in July.

Woodhall spa is slightly nicer tbh, but Louth is lovely too. I suspect the commute is easier from Louth.

Thank you so much! Gives me a lot of food for thought. Woodhall seems slightly more expensive house wise and has smaller primaries, which I like the idea of.
Do you have any personal experience of primaries in Louth? Do you know if the better ones tend to be oversubscribed?
I have seen a great farm nursery in Legbourne which looks v appealing!

My (adult) DD is a little older now, but from what I hear currently Kidgate is oversubscribed (but not massively) St Michaels isn't but is poplular (it's expanded from one class per year to two recently) and Lacey always has spaces (they are all decent though). I don't really have any personal experience of the nurseries, but we have a good few in town as well as Legbourne (which does look nice).
