Just thinking ahead for when I go back to work part time, can anyone recommend any good nurseries around N10 ( live), N19 ( work) area for 9 month old? Have heard some scary stories about having to put names down now although not due till jan!

Greygates is quite good. My bf's children went there and her youngest is still there. That's on Muswell Hill Road. Over the other side (Alexandra Park) is Rosemount. Also supposed to be good.

The Childcare Information Service can provide information about what's available in terms of nurseries and childminders. There are waiting lists for some nurseries but a friend has just found one part time in around the area you refer to within a few weeks of returning, I'll ask her for more information and also how she finds it over the next few weeks, as baby starts induction next week and nursery in October.
