New Haw - any advice?

We have just sold our flat in Weybridge, as we have outgrown it (the two of us, plus baby and dog makes it a bit of a squeeze!). Looking to upsize and have found a house that would be perfect for us - it more than ticks all of our boxes and we can really see ourselves living in it.

W e’re just not sure that the area is right for us -we are priced out of Weybridge so were originally looking more at West Byfleet / Woodham but weren’t seeing what we wanted for our budget (either much too small and we won’t have the money to extend for the foreseeable future / a real project and we won’t have the budget to do the amount of work needed). This house gives us so much more for our money but think it might be a bit of a culture shock, having grown up in leafy Bucks and lived in a very affluent part of SW London before moving to Weybridge.

Any thoughts on the area would be much appreciated! Is it safe? Is antisocial behaviour a problem? Is it a good place for children to grow up? Anything else we should know? The house is south of Woodham Lane, if that makes any difference.

Thanks so much!
