I've just started to write a book, my first writing venture! I'd love to meet fellow scribblers locally to swap tips and discuss all things writing.

Is there anyone interested in setting up a group of like minded people?

There are a lot of writers on MN but I've not seen anyone mention local writing groups as everyone's all over the country.

I've just entered Wallingford Creative Writing into Google and this link to Meet Up came up. There might be something there?
