Hi, anyone know of any (informal and cheap) dance classes for 3 year olds in South Manchester?

Dinky Dancing, Sale Leisure Centre? I've heard it's good!

Not quite south, but DD has just started a class on a thursday afternoon at Aspinall Church on the Gorton/Reddish/Denton border. £2.50 for 45 minutes, ballet/tap lesson. I haven't forked out for kit yet, as she is a fickle wee thing. hth

baby ballet (2-4 yr olds) at cheadle swimming pool stockport and "fairies and heroes" at Elm Rd Church in gatley are both good.

I have been taking my 2.5 year old to The Lowry every second Friday for dance classes and they are excellent. You can book online through www.thelowry.com/family and the program is called "First Steps". It is a mix between ballet and other dance and movement. My 5.5 year old does ballet but this is even better for the younger age group. It is 3.50 or 1.75 for Salford Residents. If you do make it, I have a little girl, Molly with curly brown hair that will be doing her own thing most of the time, but loving it!!!
