regular glasgow / scotland meet ups??

hi there folks! a few of us scottish folks met up yesterday at the tramway in teh southside - lovely afternoon. there is char of making it a more regular thing - maybe once a month. would you be interested and i guess we will be on the look out for suitable venues - any ideas??

Sounds like a great idea to me - how about different venues every month, then it makes it easier for those who have to rely on public transport/have to travel - maybe a glasgow city one, then edinburgh, then maybe somewhere half way?

Sounds good. I missed the meet as didn't read about it til too late but would have enjoyed a meet up. Is it also possible to vary which day you do it on for us working mums. i now work on a wednesday!

I also miss the Scottish meet ups maybe one day.

Hi, I moved up to Kirkintilloch a few months ago with 4 children aged 7,5,3 and 7 months.I am finding it hard to meet any Mums as 3 year old too old for toddler groups and baby too little for toddler groups. Does anyone have any ideas, I'm desperate for some adult conversation!

Cal - come over here where there are lots of Glasgow-and-around-Glasgow mums lamely trying to organise a meet-up.

I used to work near Kirkintilloch and have friends with 3 yos in your area. But come over to the other thread and join us - we're a friendly bunch and lots of us are not from the area originally.
