Living in Thaxted

Hi
I am thinking of moving to Thaxted or the surrounding area. I have 3 children (8, 5 and 2). I’d really appreciate views on what it’s like to live there and raise a family in the area.

A good friend of mine lives there and has done for about 10 years and she loves it although her children are grown up and live away so different time of life than you.
