Looking for some advice or reassurance tbh! My DD is due to sit the Heriots entrance test for S1 and we’ve been doing a bit of revision using the Bonds books, which have been going well. As DD is in the top set for reading and maths in their class, we initially felt they’d be prepped enough for the test. However, DD did a mock Bonds 11+ test today and found it very difficult - working to time was an issue but the questions were certainly a level higher than any of the Bonds assessment papers we’ve been doing for revision (Age 10-11 as advised by others). Should we be worried now that DD isn’t prepared enough?! Don’t want to hurt their confidence! TIA
