Tarporley Vs. Waverton

Can anybody offer any insights as to which area might be best for raising a toddler?

I have to decide on moving ASAP and am not from either areas!

Is there a specific reason why you shortlisted Waverton and Tarpoley? Waverton is a very small village and of the two I would choose Tarpoley. If you wanted to meet new friends with more clubs/shops/people etc., and you didn't have to live in small village/towns, then would you not consider Chester itself (Hoole, Queens Park, Handbridge, Upton Heath are all nice)?
