Coleridge vs Rokesly plus other contenders?

Hello lovely crouch enders!

I will be applying for my son (August/summer baby) to go to primary school next sept. I lived closest to Rokesly and have heard good things about it, and liked it when I visited. I thought I would be out of catchment at Coleridge, but due to falling birth rates have been advised that I am in with a chance... I visited it today and thought it was great.

Coleridge has got such a great rep, but I did read that some of their stats might be bolstered by parents who have had to privately tutor their kids through SATs... Whilst it's a four form entry, I liked the idea that they have the facilities to tailor classrooms depending on children's needs. This speaks to me, given my son will have just turned 4 and I am hopeful they would put him in a class with others similar in age. Plus, I need to think about after school clubs and wondered how these actually work in practice - I will rely on them 3-4 times a week. It did feel like this resource might be over stretched, does anyone have experience of the after school clubs?

Rokesly feels like a community school, with happy kids but in comparison to Coleridge doesn't have a lot of enrichment activities but does have flexible after school provision. They also have impressive stats.

So I am torn between the 2 and I have to think of 6 schools for my application?? I have no idea what my 3rd should be to be honest. Ashmount looks good and potentially Campsbourne... but both of these are further away than Coleridge and Rokesly so it seems odd putting them down because they are impractical...

Perspectives welcome and advice.
Thanks!!
