Kew prep schools

Hi all! We are relocating to Kew, and would really love to hear from anyone with children currently in Broomfield House, Kew College, Kew Green Prep or Unicorn School. Currently not able to apply to the state schools as we don't live in Kew yet, but would really appreciate insider news and views on any of the above schools - especially if anyone can shed light on how they compare with one another!

From what I have gathered so far, Unicorn is very oversubscribed and very nurturing, with Kew College and Broomfield House being more academic (hothouse-y?) - would this be fair to say? Kgps looks (by a way!) to be most expensive, so I wonder if the fees are justified?

Thank you all for reading!

how old are your children?

Isaydso · 24/11/2019 17:42

Hi Rockylady thanks! One is due to start in reception next year, and one in nursery (a girl and a boy respectively), hence we are looking at co-ed schools.

Sorry, a bit late to the conversation. My niece and daughter were at Kew Green Prep and Broomfield so those would be my recommendations. You don't feel like a just 'a number' as each child has the attention they need. Both are academic but without pushing too hard. Kew Green justifies the cost for sure with what they provide the whole year round and year after year with new things happening all of the time, including new technology for the children.

Thanks Isaydso, i have the same question.
My lil one is going to join reception in 2021 so i had a visit to all these schools you mentioned. I liked Kew college a lot but they don't provide meals and their intake is from nursery which is available only for 3 hours. Since both parents are working this is quite difficult for us to manage.
Please do share if you have any more updates on the school reviews.
This will help me in the decision.

Hi all, sorry that I am jumping in on this conversation late. I am also considering Broomfield House of Unicorn school for my DS to start next year. I was wondering if any of you have updates on your experiences in these schools? Thanks for your help.
