Hi, my daughter was born july 07 and as Im fairly new to the area (edge of Hatfield near to WGC end), Im not sure of any groups where I can go to meet other like minded mums. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Hi there

I have just moved to St Albans with my newborn and have just started going to Baby Massage at the Yoga Hall on Friday mornings. Its just on the Hatfield Road in St Albans - maybe a little too far as you are the Welwyn side of Hatfield. I would recommend it and a great way to meet other new mums

Is Harpenden too far for you to travel?

Harpenden/St albans is abit further out than I wanted to go really. But Thanks
Any body else??

there is a lovely music group called Tick TOck in Sandridge on Tuesday mornings. I have been taking my youngest daughter there since she was 1 week old (because I also take my older daughter) and she loves it! She never sleeps when she is there and is always joining in with lots of lovely giggles.
they have a website, if you google it you can find it!

Good luck!

Hiya!
Im a fellow Hatfielder and go to 'baby massage & first aid' every tuesday. Its a 4 week course that you have to put your name down for but your health visitor should be able to give you the details (let me know and ill see if i can get a number for you)
Not sure if you are breastfeeding but I try and go to a breastfeeding support group every friday (1.30-2.30. Both these take place at queensway health centre (behind Asda).

Take a look at the Fun Under Five directory, either online or the printed directory that you can find in the library - it lists all kinds of activities for young children.
