Ellen Wilkinson Girls School

Hi everyone. We are in that slightly stressful stage of deciding on the right secondary school for our daughter. We have been to all of the schools near both this year and last.

We live in Northfields and are in the catchment for both Elthorne High and also Ellen Wilkinson School for Girls.

Our gut is telling us that a girls only education would work better with our little one's personality, and we've been very impressed with our visits to Ellen Wilkinson.

There seemed to be a really positive energy each time we've visited, the teachers were all very engaged, and the students we approached (randomly, not the tour guides) were all very positive about their experiences. But I'm sure there are other sides to the story, there always are.

Does anyone have a daughter there, how have you found it, and would you recommend? I'm really just interested in hearing from kids that have been there in the last few years, as it seems like the school has changed a lot in the last 5-10 years.

And is anyone on here from the Northfields/South Ealing area looking at it as an option for 2020?

Sorry, long question! Thanks so much, everyone!
