Looking for more recent perspectives on Oxford High's pastoral system from recent or current parents. We loved the look of the junior school but if the senior school is still thought to care for nothing but exam results at the expense of building self esteem then we will have to think carefully about Headington (despite the fact that I would be cycling a cargo bike up that hill for many years- which of course I'd be delighted to do for the sake of their confidence...) Teddies is out of our budget. But I would also welcome more general comparisons between Oxford High and Headington from anyone with relevant experience. Am I right to think (mostly from the facilities and reputation) that Headington is very slightly less competitive and significantly better for the arts and sport? Many thanks.
