In-year admissions - has anyone heard yet?

This year Cambridgeshire Council had a 28th June deadline (for Sept start), with all places given between 8th-15th July.

We haven't heard anything yet, just wondered if anyone else has? Am wondering if there will be delays as it seems to be a new process...

Just been on the phone to them. Computer says no apparently! They are allocating everything manually as the system has crashed and its taking an age. We have been told not to expect an offer until mid next week. So frustrating as will not be able to visit the schools as they'll be closed by then. Grrrr. Very helpful staff on the phone but no information available from anyone.

(Really grates on me that they are closed in school holidays and shut down over half terms!! ..... why!!!?????? There are no children there!!!!)

I'm gonna have to make an in-year apply when I arrive in September.
Hopefully it's all fixed until then.

Still waiting here. They have a backlog and are still processing applications from over a month ago
