Hi there,
can anyone give me feedback about the Waterbeach school?
I've read most of the 2016 Ofsted report but I wanted to have a review from someone who's actually know the school.

Have you been to look round? That's the best way to get an idea, I find.

My family and I will be there in September.
I find it a big decision because as far as I know if I choose to live in Waterbeach and can't find a place for my daughter at Waterbeach Primary School we are going to need a car to drive her to school.

Yes. She should start Year 1 this September.

So I guess you have to move here first and then apply for a place? Have you checked with the council if there's space in year 1? Might be fine.

Yes, I need a permanent address before I apply. This is what is bothering me all the time. A true puzzle between where to live, work distance and a good school for my daughter.

I don't want to keep moving her between schools. She will already start behind since English is not our native language.

I mailed the Waterbeach Primary School. They said 'right now' there is no room for Year 1 unless not all the kids in Reception apply for a place in Year-1. They will only know for sure when the term starts.
