Kids Parties

I was lucky enough to win a party for 10 children at the Museum of Flight, East Fortune.

The party guests ranged from 20 months to 8 years old and I was a bit worried that the youngest would get bored. Not a chance!

They got to go on Concorde, run round the wide open spaces between hangars and dress up as fire crew.

The Museum currently has an exhibition called "Jet, Set, Go!" which all the kids absolutely loved. They got to dress up as cabin crew and serve drinks; being air traffic controllers using a 2-way monitor; put suitcases through x-ray" and get their travel documents stamped at 'check-in'.

Throughout the day we had a dedicated party host who was absolutely superb. We finished with a party in the education centre and each child had a kiddy food box consisting jumbo baguette, fruit cup of grapes and melon, chocolate muffin and carton of juice. They also got an animal mask.

It was a thoroughly brilliant day and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it for a birthday venue with a difference.

that sounds brilliant - quite fancy dressing up as cabin crew myself!

don't suppose you know how much it would cost if you had to pay - lucky you, by the way.

Let kids have a party involving Concorde - really? My 2 year old DS was scolded for going under a rope and sitting quietly on an airline seat by an attendant (I hadn't noticed, Concorde being rather poky.)
