Advice on living in Petts Wood

Hi, we’re looking for a property in Petts Wood, probably around Shepperton Road. I have no idea if it’s safe or not. Because I work late and I take train( I don’t drive), my concern is the area should be safe for one person to walk at night. And what about the local areas and people? I use to live in Bromley and it’s pretty safe. But we cannot afford buying property in Bromley so we choose the cheaper property in Petts Wood. Is there anyone can give me some advice?

Hi Willow, I replied on your other thread, hope it is useful. Petts Wood is very safe. Some people find it boringly safe, but I like it that way and have other options for more edgy living a bus or train ride away. There are lots of parts of Bromley that are far cheaper than Petts Wood.
