Relocating to Chichester HELP!

Hi,

I'm hoping people can help us with a dilemma we're having. We currently live in Surrey (near Heathrow) and are looking at relocating to Chichester, but we have no idea where to begin. We are in a position to buy our first property, so obviously we will be able to get a better family home down there. Can anyone give advice on the best areas? Or schools? Ect

Also if anyone else has made they move, what did you do about work at first?

Hi there! I currently live in Chichester but I’m from Bognor Regis originally. We live in the village of fishbourne which is SO lovely. It’s where my partner lived so we decided to stay as it’s such a lovely area and a 5 minute drive into the centre of Chichester. Great access to West Wittering beach and Bosham too! The Fishbourne primary school is great. I’m not too sure about other primary schools, but one of my old school teachers is now a Head Teacher at Portfield Primary Academy. I wouldn’t recommend Chichester High School, I went there briefly but it was separated by boys and girls when I went and now it is mixed so it may be different. If you are religious (or can overlook the few hymns) Bishop Luffa is a fantastic school. My partner went, I have lots of friends who went (including one girl that was at private school but preferred BL). So that’s where we will be sending our son is we are still living in the area, and we most probably will. I hope you do move to Chichester, it is such a nice place and a lovely, idyllic city to start a family in. Please message me if you have any other questions!

Sorry, stuff I forgot to mention. I wouldn’t chose a house in these areas personally: Whyke, the Swanfield area (anywhere around St Richards Hospital), Stockbridge (not because the area isn’t nice, it is lovely! But traffic there is HORRIFIC!). Hope this helps
