Can anyone recommend a local swimming teacher for 1:1 lessons with a 6y/o?

We traipsed our eldest to council run 1:15 ratio lessons every Wednesday for 4 years and spend £££’s.

Please PM details if they cannot be shared here. TIA Smile

Have you looked at Aberdeen ASC learn to swim?

www.aberdeenlts.org.uk/

Would definitely recommend them for LTS - relatively small groups and good quality lessons. Great pool as well.

You may find that 1:1 is quite intense for a 6 yr old, so a small group may make it more fun.

Otherwise try contacting the other local swimming clubs directly - the coaches may know someone that can help you on a private basis - often the older club swimmers are qualified as teachers.

The clubs used to do excellent LTS programmes with much lower teacher : pupil ratios - until the Council decided that they wanted that for themselves and cut the clubs out Hmm

Aberdeen ASC doesn't use a Council pool so hung on to its LTS.
