Come along to our crazy quilt making workshop! We will make a crazy quilt to show all the things we do when we care for others (kids, partners, elderly parents, friends etc.) and how it makes us feel.
Free tickets, free food.
As part of the AntiUniversity week we have organised this feminist crazy quilt making workshop for the 22nd of June. The aim is to explore our experiences of doing care (for children, adults etc): the good and the bad. The objective is to relate these to the feminist concepts of capitalism and patriarchy and formulate positive solutions for change.

In the morning we will engage in making individual crazy quilts of our own experiences. We are NOT quilt makers 😋.

A dilemma cafe will follow a free lunch and an invigorating exercise 🚳.

At the end of the workshop we should be leaving with an enriched experiencial shared understanding of solutions to make sure that care work does not equate to women exploitation and oppression.
