I saw that list in the Hackney paper, I will be taking my kids along to some of them, haven't decided which ones yet. The African Dance Workshop looks appealing as my DD likes to dance.

Check out the Hackney library too, there's often some good things going on. Also if you have little kids, city and Hackney farm is good fun.

also a walk along the river near springfield park, E5, if you walk across a bridge and across to lee valley, you eventually come across horses! yes horses in Hackney. At le valley horseriding centre. its just lovely.
