Hi all, have just tried to post this on general forum but then found the Bristol section so apologies for doubling up. We are moving for work to Bristol very soon and looking at where to. Considering villages around almondsbury or villages around long ashton. I am likely to need to commute by car in short term at least into centre for work (near the university/Royal infirmary) but worried as keep hearing the commute can be terrible. Anyone know what it’s like from these areas? also where will I hit the traffic i.e. if it’s mostly very central then where we live may matter less As will always hit it anyway? All advice welcome 🤯

Car parking is expensive in the centre, i know that much as I too will have to commute to the BRI soon.

Good luck with your move op.

As that could have a massive impact...Smile

Long Ashton would literally take you minutes to get to the centre with the new road
