Hi Everyone,
We may be moving to Exeter and don’t know the area at all! Please could anyone advise what areas you would recommend for nice large family houses and good schools?
Thank you so much

Hi there,

We are also looking to move to Exeter and would like to base the move around catchment for a good primary and secondary and commuting to the hospital (preferably by bike.) Clyst honiton and Cranbrook seem like good locations, but are the schools OK and is there a good community feel? Any advice really welcome 😊 thanks

Cranbrook has a lovely community feel, everyone looks out for each other. Both schools are good performing schools and I plan to send my children to them. I currently live a short walk from St Martins Primary and have my house for sale if it's of interest (I'm looking to move to a 4 bed within Cranbrook):
