Hadley Wood vs High Barnet vs Potters Bar

Dear All

We are considering a move. We are fortunate to have a budget that would allow us to buy a detached house in any of these areas, but we were hoping to have some inside information from Mumsnet locals!

What are these areas like against each other? What are the pros and cons? What are the schools like? We have a 2 year old.

We work in the West End so the journey seems doable from these places.

Any tips or things to consider, would be gratefully received.

I personally think potters bar is too much in the sticks.

Hadley wood is very nice and popular with footballers.
I’d vote for Hadley wood personally....

Good schools in all three areas so no fear on that front 👍
