Areas, commute, schools

Hello
We're looking to move out of SW London and have seen a nice house on Primrose Ridge in Godalming. Is this a nice area? The street itself is lovely and very peaceful but am I right in thinking Ockford Ridge/Aarons Hill doesn't have the best reputation, or is this unfounded? Another concern about this area is primary schools (not sure we'd get into Milford from there and Green Oak has a bad rep). Finally how is parking at Godalming station for the commute into London? Parking seems to be very limited, do people go to Milford or Farncombe or park on the streets? Any insights gratefully received xx

I was wondering if you ended up moving to Primrose ridge? We’re in the exact same position now - have found a property we like on Primrose ridge and moving from SW London, but are concerned about the area. We don’t have kids now, but hopefully will soon, so schools are important as well as ‘community feel.’ Would love to hear how you’ve gotten on!
