St James or sacred heart school negative?

I’m not sure which school to send my child to, she is quite shy. I have heard lots of positive about both of these schools is there any negatives? Does st James put a lot of pressure on the children when they are doing their SAT?

In the same position, we chose Sacred Heart which felt much warmer and more nurturing and we've been delighted with our child's progress there.

Thank you for your reply. Do they give a lot of home work in reception and year 1? is emphasis on academic or do they develop the whole child?

There's potentially quite a bit of homework but they're very accepting that you do what you can - we always have a book to read and most weekends we also have a bit of handwriting practice, and sometimes some number work on the computer too.

They've been extraordinarily welcoming and nurturing to our son. He's made huge progress socially as well as doing nicely academically.
